The National Award were declared and AR Murugadoss provided his best wishes to the victors. Movies like Vaagai Sooda Va, Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai and Aaranya Kaandam grabbed prizes in various groups and did Tamil theatre extremely pleased.
Murugadoss was complete of reward for the victors but he revealed in an upgrade in the micro-blogging website that he was frustrated because his movie, Engeyum Eppothum never take the top awards. This movie which he created in connection with Fox Studious and featuring Jai, Anjali, Sarwanand and Ananya came in for a lot of crucial recognition and was also valued by the viewers.
